7. Full PFA Lining & Design Features

Full Wetted-Surface Protection: All parts in contact with the medium — body interior, disc, and shaft — are completely encased with PFA of uniform thickness (≥ 3 mm). There is no exposed metal inside the flow path.

Exceptional Chemical Resistance: PFA is virtually inert to almost all chemicals, including concentrated acids (sulfuric, hydrochloric, nitric), alkalis, solvents, and ultra-high-purity water (UPW). It combines the properties of PTFE with superior melt-processability, resulting in a dense, non-porous lining.

Anti-Blowout Stem: The one-piece shaft is fitted from inside the body and secured by a retaining ring, providing a positive mechanical stop. Even if the gland is completely removed, the stem cannot be ejected by pressure.

Vacuum Resistance: The thick PFA liner is mechanically anchored into the ductile iron body and designed to withstand full vacuum (-1 bar) up to the valve’s maximum rated temperature, preventing liner collapse or delamination.
