1. Product Overview
The Triple Offset Butterfly Valve is a high-performance metal-seated butterfly valve featuring a unique triple offset geometry. Offset 1: the shaft is offset from the center of the sealing face. Offset 2: the shaft is offset from the pipe centerline. Offset 3: the conical sealing surface axis is inclined. This design ensures that the disc disengages completely from the seat the instant it opens, eliminating friction and delivering low-torque, wear-free operation. This model is a 4-inch, Class 150 rated, lugged-body valve with a metal/graphite laminated seat, providing bi-directional bubble-tight shut-off (zero leakage). It is widely used for on-off and modulating service with steam, high-temperature gases, hot oils, chemical media, and mildly corrosive fluids at moderate pressures.

8. Installation & Maintenance Instructions
Install the valve with the disc in a partially open position (approx. 10°) to avoid damage to the sealing surfaces.
Lugged installation: Studs pass through the pipe flange and are threaded into the valve lugs. Use stud bolts and nuts; tighten diagonally and evenly.
Ensure the pipe flange inner diameter is large enough to allow the disc to fully open.
The valve may be used for dead-end service; ensure the downstream pipeline is designed to handle full pressure when disconnected.
For maintenance, if the seal ring is worn, remove the retainer ring and replace the seal ring assembly without removing the valve from the pipeline.
Every 6 months of operation, inspect the packing and bolt preload; adjust or replace as necessary.
