Valve Feature SDNR: Functions as a screw-down check valve. With handwheel fully raised, the disc can be lifted by forward flow (check function); reverse flow forces the disc to reseat, preventing backflow. Tightening the handwheel drives the disc mechanically onto the seat, providing positive shut-off as a globe valve.

5. Ordering & Application Notes

WCB Body Advantages: Higher strength and wider temperature range compared to cast iron; suitable for moderate pressure services and higher thermal cycling.
Bronze Trims: Excellent corrosion resistance and anti-galling properties; ideal for steam, water, and oil. Not affected by dezincification.
Seawater Caution: The WCB carbon steel body requires external painting/coating and is not intended for prolonged immersion in seawater. For seawater applications, a bronze or stainless steel body is recommended.
Standard manual handwheel is supplied. For actuated packages, please specify actuator make, power source, and control requirements.
Tighter shut-off classes (e.g., Class VI) available on request; otherwise tested to JIS 5K standards.
