Testing Methodology:
Shell Test: Valve shall be tested in the fully open position with no leakage. Test pressure must not exceed the maximum allowable differential pressure. Do not close the valve during shell testing.
Seat Test (High Pressure): Performed on each side of the closed valve with the opposite side open, minimum test pressure 1.1 × rated working pressure per API 598.
Seat Test (Low Pressure): Tested with air at 40–80 psi (approx. 2.8–5.5 bar) per API 6D for zero detectable leakage.
Hold Duration: Minimum 15 minutes per test, with zero visible leakage at all sealing surfaces.
All valves individually tested. Material traceability and test reports available per EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2.
8. Main Features
90° Quick Operation: Plug rotates 90° from fully open to fully closed, providing rapid flow control and easy operation.
Lubricated Plug Design: Grease-injected lubrication channels in the plug structure reduce friction between plug and seat, ensuring low operating torque and extended service life.
Zero Leakage Sealing: PTFE sleeve/seat provides bi-directional bubble-tight shut-off compliant with API 598 Rate A.
Blowout-Proof Stem: Stem designed with integral collar to prevent ejection under line pressure, ensuring operator safety.
Anti-Static Device: Springs between plug and stem/body ensure electrical continuity (<10Ω), preventing static electricity buildup — essential for flammable/explosive service.
Self-Relieving Cavity: Automatic cavity pressure relief prevents over-pressurization of the body cavity due to thermal expansion.
In-Line Adjustability: Plug can be adjusted externally even with actuator mounted, minimizing maintenance downtime.
Piggable Design (Optional): Full-bore configuration available for pipeline pigging applications.
Wide Material Versatility: Body/plug can be supplied in carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, Hastelloy, Monel, and other alloys for various service conditions.
