6. Performance Tests & Inspection

Shell Strength Test: 1.5 × Rated Pressure (28.5 bar) for ≥1 minute, no visible leakage.
Seat Tightness Test (High/Low Pressure): 1.1 × Rated Pressure (21 bar) / 0.6 bar pneumatic, zero leakage.
Cryogenic Test (BS 6364): Valve immersed in liquid nitrogen (-196 °C) and cycled for operation and seat leakage tests; packing and seats demonstrate reliable sealing under deep cold conditions.
Visual Inspection: Castings free from cracks or porosity; flange sealing face finish Ra 3.2–6.3 μm.
7. Installation & Maintenance Tips

The valve must be in the fully open position during welding or flange installation to avoid weld spatter damage to the ball and seats.
The extended bonnet must be installed with the axis vertical, with deviation not exceeding 15°, to ensure proper cold box isolation.
For initial cryogenic service startup, perform ambient-to-cryogenic temperature re-tightening, checking the packing gland and body-bonnet joint bolt torque.
For oxygen service, do not use hydrocarbon-based solvents or lubricants; the valve must be properly degreased before use.
